Beloved for centuries by the people of Morocco for its hydrating and conditioning abilities for the hair and skin, argan oil is a non-greasy, ultra-lightweight oil that hydrates, heals, smooths and refines skin to a silky finish. Origin & history

The argan tree grows wild in southwestern Morocco, and for centuries the Amazigh people have built a way of life around it. The oil was pressed by hand, by women, using a method passed down through generations — slow, laborious work that yielded very little. UNESCO inscribed those practices on its Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2014. Most argan oil today comes from Moroccan women's cooperatives.
